Rebuild Bridge in Buseleni

Last Thursday while in Buseleni, Chief Nhleko took us by an old bridge that is in desperate need of repair. The bridge is about 15 or 20 years old and is not stable or secure. The orphans in my last post have to cross this bridge daily along with other children and elderly adults. I walked on the bridge and the holes are big enough for me to slip through. In addition, when the rainy season comes, the water rises and the bridge becomes slippery.

The Chief has reached out to the government for the money to rebuild the bridge but his request was declined. Thus, Project Africa Global is working to raise the funds to rebuild this bridge. If you would like to help and make a donation, you can contact Anita Williams at suwanneeneat@yahoo.com.
